1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering as a driver on the Transmate platform or using the Transmate Driver App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and all other policies published on our platform.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must hold a valid driving license, all permits, and other regulatory documents required by law.
- Your vehicle must meet applicable standards and must be insured as per local law.
3. Driver Obligations
- Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene, behavior, and professionalism.
- Ensure vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and meets all safety norms.
- Not engage in any illegal, unsafe, or unethical conduct while providing services.
- Obey all traffic laws, including speed limits, parking rules, and other safety regulations.
- Never allow any unregistered person to drive on your behalf.
4. Service Usage
- You are an independent contractor and not an employee, agent, or partner of Transmate.
- Transmate provides a technology platform to connect drivers with users.
- Transmate does not guarantee minimum rides or earnings.
- All assignments are based on demand and driver availability.
5. Earnings and Payments
- You will receive payments as per fare rules shown in the app after deduction of platform fees, taxes, and other applicable charges.
- All earnings will be credited to your registered bank account on a [weekly/bi-weekly] basis.
- Transmate may offer incentive schemes which are subject to change without notice.
6. Platform Fee
- Transmate may charge a platform fee/commission on each completed ride. The percentage will be displayed in the driver app or contract.
7. Ratings and Feedback
- Riders may rate your performance. Persistent low ratings may lead to suspension or deactivation.
- You may also rate passengers.
8. Suspension and Termination
Transmate reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform if:
- You breach any terms of this agreement.
- You engage in fraudulent, criminal, or inappropriate behavior.
- Your documentation is invalid or expired.
- You receive consistently poor ratings or complaints.
9. Vehicle and Insurance
- You must own or have legal rights to operate the vehicle used on the platform.
- Maintain valid insurance at all times, including third-party and driver insurance.
- Transmate is not responsible for any accident, damage, or theft.
10. Data Privacy
- You agree to our Privacy Policy.
- Your personal and vehicle details may be used for verification, support, payments, and other operational purposes.
11. Dispute Resolution
- All disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably.
- If unresolved, they shall be subject to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
